Saskia Design Co. is an online store selling beautiful handcrafted jewelry pieces.

When Saskia came to us, she had lots of ideas for her new logo design. She was drawn to neutral colours, florals and mushrooms for the main visual elements. After chatting with her about her brand and her values as a business owner, it was evident that sustainability, quality products and whimsy were important to the brands storytelling.

The idea for this logo was to combine the letters of the business name (S and D) with the natural shapes that form the stem of a peony. This fusion of letters and organic elements is the basis for the logomark. All other lockups “stem” from this main icon and have been uniquely created to suit the variety of applications where a logo might be found. Furthermore the logomark, when flipped upside down, also acts as the stock of the mushroom submark. Mushrooms hold various symbolic meanings and interpretations including renewal and adaptability which relate to the creative jewelry making process of adapting materials to create something new!

The variety of elements within this expansive logo system means endless potential when applying these visuals to each aspect of the brand.
